Okechukwu Umemuo FCIArb
Okechukwu heads the Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Practice Team of the Firm. He is a consummate trial lawyer with extensive trial experience before all Superior Courts of record and the National Industrial Court. He has also appeared before other Tribunals including the ECOWAS Court of Justice, Tax Appeal Tribunal, Industrial Arbitration Panel, Investment and Securities Tribunal etc. He has distinguished himself at the Appellate Courts where he has argued several Reported Cases.
Mr. Umemuo was awarded an LLM by the Obafemi Awolowo University in 2011 and previously served as Head of Litigation at Kola Awodein & Co.
Okechukwu obtained his law degree in 2006. Okechukwu is a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK, Nigeria Branch
