Ambrose Onyemakonor
Ambrose is a Senior Associate in the Firm's Advocacy & Dispute Resolution as well as the Tax Practice Teams.
He has represented client in superior courts of records in a broad array of disputes arising from commercial contracts, mortgages, employment, oil and gas, intellectual property, and debt recovery. He is a consummate lawyer who is dedicated to achieving excellent results for every client. Ambrose is an avid believer in the common-sense approach to dispute resolution.
Prior to joining the firm, Ambrose had a long spell working in an in-house capacity for one of the largest manufacturers of polyurethane products in Nigeria where he resolved countless disputes through negotiation and mediation. He has therefore developed a versatile approach towards dispute resolution that emphasizes the importance of alternative dispute resolution mechanism and litigation/arbitration as a last resort.
Ambrose has a flair for writing and routinely issues thought leadership publications. His resourcefulness ensures that he constantly exceeds client's expectations.
Ambrose Onyemakonor is a graduate of the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State and was admitted to practice law in Nigeria in 2016. He brings close to a decade worth of dispute resolution experience.
